The Great Plains Hunter Association is proud to present for instruction, Kris Killiam. Kris is an established professional rider, trainer and coach from Omaha, Nebraska (Zone 6).  Kris is a proud graduate of William Woods University, where he earned a degree in Equine Science, and had the honor of receiving instruction from Dr. Linda McClaren.  As a child, Kris learned solid basics from Jan Rock of Huntermark Farms.  During his college years, he rode for Kenny Bergdoerfer, getting many miles in the show ring.  Kris spent several years after college riding and training with well-known and respected Canadians, Blair and Karen Cudmore.  Working for the Cudmores at Heartland Farms gave Kris many miles on amazing horses, both young and experienced. 

Kris' customers are showing successfully in hunters and jumpers.  His Junior-riders show in Junior Hunters and Junior Jumpers.  His adult students are showing successfully in Adult Equitation, hunters and jumpers.  The horses in training with Kris have provided the best form of advertising, as their transformations are noted ring-side.
